A trading robot is a program written in the commands of the language supported by your trading terminal. In Russia there are 2 software terminals produced by the Moscow Exchange: TRANSAQ and QUIK. The embedded language is called ATF.
The name robot is used in the sense that the program you create usually performs trading operations automatically – puts out orders, records the formation of transactions, monitors the price level and the fulfillment of conditions, closes or reverses positions. It is possible that in such algorithms you use elements of artificial intelligence to search for template situations, or apply logic on signals issued by indicators built into the software.
